arm, Edgenta Academy Sdn Bhd (EASB), entered into a Memorandum of Business
Exploration (MOBE) with the Asia Pacific University of Technology &
Innovation (APU) to explore potential collaborations in areas encompassing
training, research, industry engagement, and regulatory development.
The signing of the MOBE
forms part of EASB’s 2025 strategy to strengthen institutional partnerships and
reinforce its role within the national learning and development ecosystem. Through
this partnership, EASB and APU will co-develop cutting-edge training
programmes, bridging academic expertise with industry experience while pursuing
collaborative research in engineering and technology. The collaboration
positions EASB at the intersection of academia and industry, which nurtures talent
equipped with the skills and agility needed to propel Malaysia’s future
workforce; and further underscores UEM Edgenta’s continued commitment to nation
building through talent development, innovation, and industry advancement.
Commenting on the
partnership, Razman Ismail, Director of Edgenta Academy Sdn Bhd and
Chief People Officer at UEM

The MOBE is a non-binding
agreement with a duration of up to two years, renewable upon mutual consent.

innovation-driven partnerships.
The Memorandum of Business

Bhd, witnessed by Nuraida Ismail, Head, EASB; while Gurpardeep Singh, Chief
Operating Officer, signed on behalf of the Asia Pacific University of
Technology & Innovation (APU) and witnessed by Prof. Ts. Dr. Murali Raman,
Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic Development & Strategy). Also in
attendance at the ceremony were senior representatives from both organisations,
marking a shared commitment to advancing industry-academia collaboration.
